Relaunch

It’s been six years since my last blog post. A lot has happened in that time: people, jobs and hair have all come and gone; I’ve traveled the country; I’ve won comedy contests (and lost many more); I’ve joined the Minivan Men podcast, and my website is being proudly relaunched.

This relaunch seems as good a time as any to restart my blog. Of the several posts that I wrote in the old Myspace days, I decided to repost a few that were personal favorites. My goal is to keep up with regularly scheduled personal essays. I won’t commit to a schedule, however. If you’ve heard any episodes of Minivan Men, you’ll know that each episode somewhat-ironically starts with the admission that the episodes aren’t as consistently published as anyone would like and the “promise” that we’ll do better about recording and getting them out there…the last episode was recorded nearly four months ago during Super Bowl weekend.

So in that spirit, I promise that I’ll do better about writing and getting my posts out there. Actually the recording of that last episode would make a good essay. Someday. Right now, I have to take a toddler to the doctor.
