Agency’s challenge: Doubling down on the Augmented Reality technology, refresh the existing MiniMonsters characters and create interchangeable interactions.
Our initial theme was closer to “Fight Night” which explains the intimidating poster look of the creative. My sketches were brought to life by the talented We Are Alexander Production team in St. Louis. Knowing these characters very well by now and inspired by classic slapstick cartoons, we ran through all of the various MiniMonster matchups and provided new storyboards to Clockwork VFX.
Consumers could also take a “Selfie” with their MiniMonsters and easily share it online.
