Agency’s challenge: Create a truly incorporated and buzz worthy partnership between Dr Pepper andIron Man 2 without losing the integrity of each respective brand.
Working within the Marvel Studios style guide, our small team of art directors created a sleek line of collectible cans that featured the “dual personalities” of the film’s key players. Allowing some unbelievable flexibility with their brand, Dr Pepper let me add “Iron Man”-inspired detailing to their logo and packaging. And working closely with a separate display agency, I was able to see my initial concept sketches and Photoshop renders of standees, ceiling crashers and lobby displays become jaw-dropping realities.
